This bothered me!
(the following post is neither unbiased, nor politically correct. This has been edited since I first posted it, since I think I was a bit carried away with the language, I apologise to anyone who read it prior to this edit.)
I just finished watching 4 women complaining and whining about a woman named Nadya Suleman. She is the mother of 14 children, 6 previous children and an amazing set of octuplets in January 09 brought her to the attention of the media.
The headlines are full of her. "Nadya Suleman talkes about her days as a stripper!" and "Octo-mom is an octo mess." Frankly I don't give a flying rat about her past, I've likely done worse.(and ,yes, I'm talking about the stripping, ha!) I care even less weather she is or isn't going to take a deal for a reality show. The women I saw "reporting" (I'll throw that term out loosely here) the story were neither unbiased nor fair. This was not reporting, and it pissed me off!
"I love kids!" she said. Find fault in that. Comments online about her range from, "what a looser" to "I hope someone kills her". Well, I hope and pray nothing happens to her. One reporter said, "she was only loving and motherly when the cameras where rolling. When the cameras went off, she left the kids in a nanny's care and went shopping." Well, retards, maybe she needed something like I don't know....... DIAPERS..... MAYBE FOOOOOOD!!!! So far the only thing fueling the controversy is the self righteous, selfish, uptight, people who are too self centered to ever raise a child of their own, much less 14, that they can't understand and therefore hate anyone who makes their mind up to love and raise babies.
Is she the perfect mom? Impossible. no one is.
Is she capable of raising that many children? we'll see.
But please, for the love of God,(though I doubt that would constrain them much) get off your sex in the city watching, high horse and find a way to help her. At the very least, stop abusing her with such hateful coverage.
Ok, I'm going to calm down now. Like I said, this is by no means unbiased. She is cute,( I think) and looks sweet. I have a soft spot for single moms, granted. But the way she is under attack by Americans with no lives, and no love for anything or anyone but themselves, really got me going. Stop pushing buttons on your remote control, except to turn off the garbage that box is feeding you and get a life.

you had to know that aiw was not going to work out well. they are already involved in foster care and that seemed the most natural route. what ever happened to all the money raised to pay for them, now that they have only worked 5 days looking after the babies.
with regard to the shopping i heard that kaiser said she had to buy everything new for the new house as they wanted to reduce the chance of germs from the older kids toys. in fact you could guess that kaiser is not wanting any repercussions and have made a lot of demands on nadya to comply. the fact that they have to report to cps as well as aiw, and they haven't but instead saw fit to discharge the babies to her shows that the aiw story is skewed.
i think that getting involved with allred has been detrimental to their cause. who would donate to them in future? i certainly wouldn't. i wish that i lived locally to help nadya with those babies. i think she needs some gratis help instead of abuse
Thank you, anonymous. I know it's more then she can handle, I just don't agree with the hate I see aimed at her.
I was part of a big family, not that big, but big. I think big families are great. but I was part of a big family that had allot of help. There were older brothers and sisters to help the younger ones. There was a father, friends and extended family. Still, children are a gift, no mater the method of impregnation. I like what you said about her need for help not abuse.

Good on ya, Aaron, I don't know you but I heard of you, and speaking out like that...well at least you did something and good 'something's' have to happen somewhere at sometime..I congratulate you. I know how tough it is raising kids, got 3 of 'em myself.
